Ground Y, a concept shop run by Yohji Yamamoto, will open a pop-up shop in the promotional space at the entrance to Spain Slope on the first floor of Shibuya Parco Part 1 from July 29th to August 7th. The shop will feature the "Ground Y x Yasuto Sasada" collection, a collaboration with artist Yasuto Sasada. This collection will be Ground Y's final collection following Shibuya Parco's temporary closure. Following the "Geisha Series" that graced Ground Y's opening and the "GIRL Series" that debuted in the 2015-16 Autumn/Winter collection, this marks Ground Y's third collaboration with Yasuto Sasada. The collection will feature a variety of T-shirts incorporating Yasuto Sasada's meticulous artwork. Ground Y will also participate in the "SHIBUYA, Last Dance_" exhibition, which will be held on the third floor of Shibuya Parco Part 1 from July 29th to August 7th, the same period as the pop-up shop. The exhibition will feature four original artworks used in the "Ground Y x Yasuto Sasada" collection, as well as a one-of-a-kind collaboration piece in which Yasuto Sasada's artwork painted on leather has been turned into a jacket by the Ground Y design team.
