Akiko Tsunoda's photo exhibition, "REGENBOGEN ~ a walk around Chiang Mai," will be held from July 30 to August 14 at GALLERY MUVEIL, the flagship store of MUVEIL in Minami-Aoyama, Tokyo.

The exhibition is based on the "REGENBOGEN" series, a zine compilation of the encounters she has had during her life's travels. Previously, the series has traveled to Latvia, Estonia, Mexico, Sweden, and Denmark, capturing the charms of the world with Tsunoda's signature gentle light and color. The series' first Asia issue, published this spring, focuses on Chiang Mai, Thailand, showcasing the charming scenery of Chiang Mai, Thailand's ancient capital, also known as the "Rose of the North." It showcases the handicrafts and lifestyles of hill tribes and the magical, beautiful night of the Yi Peng Festival (Loy Krathong), where countless Khom Loi (lanterns) dance in the sky. The exhibition will also feature a mini-exhibition corner showcasing photographs of the fascinating grandmothers (grandmothers) that Akiko Tsunoda encountered around the world during her travels. In addition, limited edition Grandma Charm products, the muse of MUVEIL, and items made at Ban Rom Sai, a facility established as a living facility for orphans infected with HIV from their mothers, which was the catalyst for Akiko Tsunoda's visit to Chiang Mai, will be on sale. Additionally, a Chiang Mai-themed talk event featuring Akiko Tsunoda and Miho Natori, representative of the NPO Ban Rom Sai Japan, will be held on August 4th.
