On the morning of June 12th, the final day of London Fashion Week Men's, Craig Green presented his Spring/Summer 2018 men's collection. While London's flagship designer, J.W. Anderson, was absent due to a show in Florence, Craig Green made his presence felt. His collections, at times theological and thoughtful, have become more captivating with each passing season.

The venue was a brick Victorian railway underpass, not far from London Bridge, the site of the June 3rd terrorist attack. This season's theme was "nomads traveling to paradise." Craig explained the process of creating the collection, saying, "I thought about escaping to paradise and imagined what paradise would be like, but it only became darker and darker."

The early looks were dominated by muted tones of black and white. The collection showcased a different side of Craig, showcasing clean, stretchy silhouettes, casual stitching, and never-before-seen denim materials. His signature strings were used extensively as details. Midway through the collection, the collection shifted to colorful contrasts, with oversized pieces randomly combining different materials. Freed from all restrictions, the nomads seemed to have achieved freedom.

The journey continued, and towards the end, their freedom increased even more. Capes and ponchos printed with images of the sun, earth, and botanical patterns appeared. Craig's portrayal of the nomads seemed to have reached paradise. Rather than lavish sets or flashy productions, the collection pieces alone created a moving and emotional story. Craig's talent shines all the more when the real world is dark and complex.
