E.TAUTZ's season is told through monochrome papers, combining street documentary photography by John Bulmer, a contemporary of photographers like David Bailey and Terence Donovan, with quotes from Scottish poet Douglas Dunn's "Terry Street." The men in the photographs cycle in shapeless suits and hunting caps, or gather in knee-length tweed overcoats and loose-fitting trousers. E.TAUTZ's models also wear generously roomy, wide trousers and long coats made of tweed or wool twill. On their feet are sophisticated versions of clogs (Christian Louboutin), a traditional working-class footwear. The suit jackets are tailored without canvas interlining and are loose, allowing for ease of movement and softness. The Fair Isle knitwear has long ribbing at the waist, accentuating the waist without being restrictive. A different image of the 1960s than what people associate with the era today, this collection recreates the British countryside in luxurious materials. E. Touts 2015-16 Fall/Winter Collection
Craig Green, a young designer in his second season of solo shows, paired generously wide, gathered pants with a tightly cinched waist and a body-conscious T-shirt with drawstrings. Based on workwear, he combined fitted and loose styles in a single look. Countless strings and tapes, the function of which is unclear, dangle from both the jacket and pants, and, combined with the pants' excessively wide fit, emanated a subtle Japanese vibe. Given that the brand's motif last season was a warrior wearing a flag, there's likely a sense of continuity. Craig Green 2015-16 Fall/Winter Collection
In contrast to Craig Green, who hid the functionality of his clothes with countless strings and tapes, Paul Smith's presentation emphasized the functionality of his clothes, such as their wrinkle-free design and ease of movement. Max Whitlock, a member of the British gymnastics team who won a bronze medal in the team event at the London Olympics, and members of a circus performed a variety of acrobatic feats wearing Paul Smith travel suits. It was impressive that the suits remained wrinkle-free even after the two-hour performance, which included intervals. Paul Smith 2015-16 Fall/Winter Men's Collection
