April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, Tokyo Tower and Ships Shibuya and Harajuku stores will be painted blue

On April 2nd, World Autism Awareness Day, SHIPS will be painting the storefronts of its Shibuya and Harajuku stores in "Warm Blue." Additionally, both stores will be selling "Blue Candles" (1,050 yen) produced by the general incorporated association Get in touch. Proceeds will be donated to the organization's activities.

World Autism Awareness Day is a day when various initiatives to deepen understanding of autism are carried out around the world. The theme color is blue. Events are held across Japan, including Get in touch, which will be holding an event at Tokyo Tower. Participants include Chizuru Azuma, Amon Miyamoto, Salsa Gum Tape, and Tatsuya Ishii. Tokyo Tower will also be lit up in blue on the 2nd.

Get in touch is a project started to raise awareness of autism. Through creative and expressive activities, the aim is to create a society where everyone can live a fulfilling life while making the most of their individuality. Get in touch has also named this blue "Warm Blue," as it evokes the warmth that people with autism possess.
