_Fot, a Japanese-made brand featuring shoes and accessories with a wood motif, has begun delivery of its Spring/Summer 2018 collection. This fourth season's collection features a range of simple yet elegant pieces, including the brand's classic conceptual circle, triangle, and square wooden heel pumps, as well as sandals, ballet flats, bucket bags, and key charms. The unique thong sandals feature the brand's signature wood material for ball-shaped components, creating a minimalist yet modern finish. The contrast of the spheres, which appear to float in mid-air, is striking. The ballet flats, designed for a soft, comfortable fit, feature oval holes on the instep and delicate laces for a cool, refreshing look. Additionally, tape sandals with crepe soles incorporating cork and lace-up shoes with a feminine square-toe silhouette add a playful touch to the color palette. The bag line features new releases, including a circular shoulder bag with wooden parts made using the often-used plywood (bent wood) technique, and a bucket bag made from refreshing canvas material with reversible leather handles. There's also a full selection of leather accessories, including key charms, card cases, and document cases, featuring a fun mix of circle, triangle, and square shapes and vibrant colors. A new addition to the accessory line is a striking ring made from a wooden block with geometric cuts. Fort's 2018 Spring/Summer collection will be available from late February at select shops across Japan, including STEVEN ALAN, TOMORROWLAND, and 1LDK apartments.
