Prada presented its Fall/Winter 2025 Men's collection on the runway at the Deposito Foundation in Milan on January 19, 2025, at 10:00 PM (Japan time).

An expression of instinct. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' Fall/Winter 2025 Men's collection explores human nature and basic instincts, tools of fundamental creativity. It's a natural, unlearned reaction, an automatic response, a primal impulse.

Romance shapes the collection, but it's driven by its basis, its emotional intensity, perhaps even its passion that transcends reason. Artificial decisions are discarded in favor of the honesty of facts and spontaneous choices. For in what is instinct, a new refinement and simple elegance can be discovered.

Accidental contrasts create unexpected and seductive combinations. The body is draped instinctively, unconstrained by the constraints of reason. When done with a dress, this leads to a tight, body-hugging fit. The space, reminiscent of a film screen, impulsively evokes universal memories.

Spontaneous, spontaneous gestures reflect our human nature. Shearling, used both on the outside and inside, becomes a sensual layer that hugs the body. Knitwear is adorned with meaningless metal symbols, like talismans that protect us.

Venue designer AMO transformed the Prada Foundation's Deposito with a play on contrasts. Rugged, industrial metal structures are paired with tactile carpets designed by Catherine Martin, each heightening awareness of the other. By dividing the vast hall into multiple layers, the light distribution changes, creating a cinematic experience. The space evokes the intimacy of a club, embodying the human instinct to gather together.
