Paris' popular "Merci" trunks collaborate with "Mina Perhonen"

Apr 2, 2013

A limited edition trunk, a best-selling item from the popular Parisian select shop Merci, finished with mina perhonen fabric, will be available at the Re-Style Gift section of Isetan Shinjuku starting April 3rd.
Merci opened in Paris (Marais district) in 2009. Founded by Marie-France and Bernard Cohen, owners of the luxury children's clothing brand Bonpoint, the couple achieved success with Bonpoint and began to think about what they could do to help the world. The brand was founded with the goal of contributing to society by donating a portion of its sales to underprivileged children. With over 15 unique promotions planned each year, the brand has garnered attention from around the world.
Merci trunks sold out immediately upon their first arrival in Japan in 2011. This time, trunks made with popular Mina Perhonen fabrics will be available exclusively at Isetan Shinjuku and JR Osaka Mitsukoshi Isetan in five patterns: "jelly beans," "flower bed," "choucho," "alive," and "obscure." Two sizes will be available: small (10,500 yen) and large (12,600 yen).
