To celebrate the 45th anniversary of its founding, Shueisha's popular manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump is collaborating with the Asahi Elementary School Newspaper to host the "Weekly Shonen Jump Review Contest." This is the first-ever manga book review contest open to elementary school students nationwide, with the theme being Weekly Shonen Jump. Titles eligible for the contest include "One Piece," "Kuroko's Basketball," and "Naruto," both currently serialized as of April 1, 2013, as well as the entire Weekly Shonen Jump series and previously serialized titles like "Dragon Ball." The winning entry will receive a chance to have a signed portrait drawn by their favorite manga artist. The results will be announced in the October 28 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump and on the magazine's 45th anniversary website.
