Seiko Spirit Smart has released a collaboration watch (42,000 yen each) with Hirohiko Araki's manga "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure." It is scheduled to go on sale in late April.

The watch is based on the fifth part of the series, "Golden Wind," which features fashionable characters set in Italy, and uses the motif of the seven main characters and their Stand abilities to express the worldview of the story. The lineup includes seven limited edition models, each limited to 300 pieces: the "Bruno Bucciarati" model with a white base and navy accents, and the index design based on his suit's pattern; the "Giorno Giovanna" model in gold and midnight, featuring the key "arrow" from the story, his trademark ladybug, and the studs on the chest of his school uniform; the "Guido Mista" model with his trademark pistol; the "Trish Una" model with the pattern of his skirt on the dial; the "Narancia Ghirga" model with the orange color of Narancia's name and a sub-dial inspired by aircraft instruments; the "Panna Cotta Fugo" model with a lavender and gold dial featuring the pattern of his stand, "Purple Haze"; and the all-black "Leone Abbacchio" model featuring Abbacchio's initial "A." All models feature the character's name and serial number on the case back, an illustration of the Stand-using turtle (Coco Jumbo) from the series, and "Vento Aureo (Golden Wind)" engraved on the side of the case at 9 o'clock. Each model comes in a special box. Abilities that manipulate time often appear in JoJo. In Part 3, DIO's The World stops time; in Part 4, Kira Yoshikage's Bites the Dust turns back time; in Part 5, Diavolo's King Crimson leaps back several tens of seconds; in Part 6, Made in Heaven accelerates time; and in Part 7, Ringo Road Again's Mandom turns back six seconds. All but Part 7 feature a boss character. Ringo uses the watch as a mental switch to activate his Mandom's abilities.
