Stella McCartney's Roppongi Hills flagship store is more natural

Apr 8, 2013

Stella McCartney has opened a new store on the second floor of Roppongi Hills West Walk. This is the brand's second flagship store in Tokyo, following its Aoyama store, which opened in 2008.

The store offers a full line of products, including women's clothing and bags, as well as accessories, lingerie, a children's line, and fragrances.

The store's floor space is 127 square meters. The interior design combines natural materials, such as diamond-cut ceramic tiles and "Stella Pink" parquet flooring, with sculptural details. The store's façade features a panoramic window and is accented with a backlit brass sign.

The 2013 Spring/Summer collection is displayed on brass hanger racks, and handbags are displayed against a stone and marble wall. In the fitting rooms, colorful Perspex pendants cover the walls and chairs are made from recycled materials. Stella McCartney is a strict vegetarian and does not use leather or fur in her designs, a decision that is reflected in the design of this shop.

To celebrate the opening, limited edition items will be sold, including an embroidered lace dress and a transparent clutch bag made of Lucite.
