Designer Maiko Ichikawa's WJKW Fall/Winter 2013 collection features menswear materials and straight silhouettes for a masculine feel. Herringbone tweed pieces feature lambskin accents. Box pleats on the back of coats and ruffled hems on jackets create a feminine silhouette. Designs that blend strength and sweetness, such as pairing a tartan dress with a lace vest or combining pinstripes and leopard print, also appear in the second season of the baby dress line, "Dress Up Baby Girl by WJKW," allowing mothers and daughters to enjoy matching outfits. The classic mod coat, which adds a new color to its khaki color every season, is now available in black. It features a lightweight lining with voluminous fur. The shirt features a dotted pattern created using salt-shrunk processing, and the deliberately thick stitches emphasize the cut. The melange-style knitwear has a rough, hand-knitted texture, while the Super 120's Melton Chester coat features simple yet distinctive sleeve cutting. The two-piece sleeves, which are switched at the armhole, create a three-dimensional look.
These items are also designed to be paired with the elegant designs of the Pre-Fall collection to create a unique WJKW look.
A new line, "TOGETHER by WJKW," has also been launched from AW 2013-14, bringing together classic items. It includes supple lambskin rider jackets, oxford shirts, and denim cut and sewn fabrics.
The relaxed line, "ethereal," features soft-colored parkas and swimwear inspired by winter beachwear.
