UNDERCOVER's 2013-14 Autumn/Winter collection, designed by Jun Takahashi, had the theme "Anatomicouture." It was held at the Grand Salon of the Sorbonne University in Paris. Human parts, such as eyes, bones, internal organs, and mouths, were used as motifs in the prints and patchwork on clothing, as well as in the designs on bags and belts. True to the "anatomical" concept, biker jackets and shirts were disassembled and reconstructed into dresses. The decadent, erotic, and fetishistic designs, featuring lace and corsets, also featured "childishness," revealing the inner human condition. "It's been a while since our last collection, but we received positive reviews from international media outlets like Style.com and the New York Times, who were delighted with our return. Above all, we're pleased that our return abroad, after a two-season absence, has brought back buyers and fans we've worked with before," said a spokesperson.
