Undercover's new line is "John" and "Sue"

Apr 1, 2013

UNDERCOVER's new lines, "JohnUNDERCOVER" and "SueUNDERCOVER," will debut in the Fall/Winter 2013-14 season. They were unveiled at the brand's AW 13-14 exhibition.

The brand names "John" and "Sue" are not based on specific people, but were chosen because they perfectly represent the type of man and woman that Takahashi always imagines. Positioned as a second line, unlike the main line, which is entirely directed by UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi, the designs are handled by an in-house planning team. Prices are around 20,000 yen for cut-and-sew items and 6,000 yen for logo T-shirts. The items are scheduled to be available in stores in August.

In addition to cut-and-sew items and sweaters, the men's line also includes coats, leather pants, and knit headbands. The women's line focuses on tops. The collection will also include pumps created in collaboration with Castaner, which are known for being easy to walk in and have many loyal customers, as well as slip-ons with fur lining.
