It has been announced that John Galliano will be teaching at Parsons The New School for Design in New York, a school that has produced many renowned designers. He will be leading a four-day masterclass program titled "Show Me Emotion," which will explore how emotions, sensibility, and intuition can be harnessed in clothing design. On the final day, he will hold a session with students alongside Simon Collins, dean of Parsons' fashion department. Galliano served as creative director of Christian Dior from 1996 until February 2011, when he was arrested by police for making racist remarks. He was subsequently convicted of a crime and subsequently fired by Dior. He also resigned as designer of his own brand, John Galliano. With her future plans attracting attention, it was reported that she was invited to Oscar de la Renta's studio in New York in January this year, and there were rumors that she had been staying in New York since then.
Collins has previously shown support for Galliano.
