ETRO will open a limited-time special store, "Dreamy Paradise," in collaboration with photographer Mika Ninagawa on the third floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building on Wednesday, April 3rd. The store will run until Tuesday, April 9th. Etro, the Italian brand that revives the paisley pattern with its unique techniques and sense, will feature the brand's iconic shawls, along with some clothing and accessories from the 2013 Spring/Summer collection. The shawls will be available in a variety of materials and colors, including Etro's iconic paisley motif and graphic prints. Also available will be an oriental shawl featuring hand-painted butterfly and flower motifs evoking a paradise, first seen in the 2013 Spring/Summer collection. This collaboration between ETRO and Mika Ninagawa is a limited-time offer at the Isetan Shinjuku store. Ninagawa personally directed the display at the store, along with photos of the shawls he photographed. The theme of the event, "Dreamy Paradise," is portrayed in a more powerful and fantastical way.
