Perrier-Jouet's 2007 vintage champagne and limited-time bar at Shinjuku Isetan

Apr 17, 2015

Perrier-Jouet has introduced a new prestige champagne, "Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque 2007" (750ml/21,000 yen).

"Belle Epoque" is a vintage champagne produced only in years when the brand's grapes are harvested with excellent quality. It is characterized by its light gold sparkle, resulting from its light effervescence. While maintaining the floral and diamond-like style of Perrier-Jouet, this champagne has been aged for six years to create a more transparent and mellow champagne.

The aroma is sweet, reminiscent of pear and peach, enveloped in aromas of magnolia, honeysuckle, and citrus. Another distinctive feature is the refreshing white fruit flavor, with a hint of almond milk.

In addition, "THE STAND," the champagne bar on the second floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Store, will be open from April 22nd to May 12th. During this period, in addition to "Belle Epoque 2007" (3,000 yen), they will also be serving "Grand Brut" (1,000 yen), a non-vintage champagne made with grapes harvested in multiple years. You can also enjoy a tasting of the sparkling salmon pink "Blason Rosé" (2,000 yen). Along with these champagnes, they will also be offering a "Petit Full Course" (1,158 yen). Enjoy the marriage of the floral Belle Poch with a petit course of appetizer, main course, and dessert.
