No other house is more connected to the archetypal woman than Saint Laurent.
The Saint Laurent ideal woman is more complex than the seductive perfection of the classic muse.
I am the Saint Laurent woman—as Yves Saint Laurent once said. The Saint Laurent woman proudly expresses her dark desires, her love of danger and pleasure, in a modern way.
Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello has expanded on a principle that has been present since the House's founding: that Saint Laurent clothes are born from the independent attitude of the woman who wears them. The contradiction between artistic sophistication and instinctive desire that coexists within this woman reflects the humanity of Yves Saint Laurent himself.

To capture this attitude, some pieces in the collection evoke the way Yves Saint Laurent himself dressed, with flowing suits and jackets layered over blazers. Other looks, featuring skirts, reveal a different side of Yves Saint Laurent. These ensembles are full of movement, reminiscent of the works of the house's founder, Yves Saint Laurent's beloved painters.

For many years, the multifaceted appeal of the Saint Laurent woman has been perfectly embodied by exceptional models with whom the Maison has built enduring relationships. Selected for their diverse personalities and feminine flair, these women are an essential part of the Saint Laurent universe. Tonight, every look is named after a woman who has played a key role in the Maison's life to this day.

The show venue was a monumental space for Saint Laurent, designed by Anthony Vaccarello. A long, dark space was inserted into the historic courtyard, and an oval oculus floated against the night sky. Tall gold trim bathed the space in warm light, and the distinctive blue floor was reminiscent of Yves Saint Laurent's famous garden in Marrakech.
