This collection features classic models that have been loved around the world, such as the "SUPERSTAR," "STAN SMITH," and "CONTINENTAL 80," now available as sustainable products made from recycled materials. This demonstrates adidas' commitment to continuous innovation for the earth and the future.

Over the past few years, adidas Originals has been working hard to explore the possibilities of sustainability. While this one shoe may not be able to save the planet, it is challenging itself to find more sustainable solutions within its production process. This vegan-certified model features a newly redesigned pattern to reduce material consumption and waste. The outsole is made from Better Rubber, a blend of 90% natural rubber extracted from rubber trees and 10% recycled rubber. Additionally, over 70% of the upper is made from recycled materials, resulting in a sneaker that is kind to the earth and has a low environmental impact.

This sneaker, a staple street classic that has been loved for many years, is evolving into a model that expresses your unique style while also creating a cleaner planet and a cleaner cultural future.

■ “Clean Classics” collection

“Clean Classics” is adidas This sustainable collection expresses the timeless classic style of the Originals while creating a waste-free future. It features 10 models, including "SUPERSTAR," "STAN SMITH," "CONTINENTAL 80," "SUPERCOURT," "TOP TEN," and "SC PREMIERE."

Based on the concepts of REDUCE, REUSE, and REMAKE, 70% of the upper is made from recycled materials to reduce material waste and waste. The upper, sockliner cover, and stitching are made from recycled polyester. This reduces existing plastic waste without generating new plastic waste, thereby easing the burden on the environment.

The outsole is made from Better Rubber, which is made from 90% natural rubber and 10% recycled rubber. Natural rubber is a renewable resource extracted from rubber trees, and using recycled rubber avoids the production of new synthetic rubber, saving resources and energy. The CONTINENTAL 80 utilizes natural resources, with an EVA midsole containing 10-25% algae obtained during lake cleaning. It also features a natural cork insole, paper laces made from recycled FSC-certified paper, and cut lines created by a new pattern developed to maximize material efficiency, giving the shoe a unique look.
