The photo exhibition "Mika Ninagawa Exhibition: Sakura at Daikanyama Ashiya Bookstore" will be held from April 8th to 26th in the gallery space of Tsutaya Bookstore in Daikanyama.

The exhibition will feature Mika Ninagawa's "Sakura" series, focusing on works from her photo book "Sakura," released in 2011. It will showcase the various forms of cherry blossoms that she photographed 2,500 times over the course of one week. In the afterword to the book, Ninagawa spoke of her feelings at the time: "In March 2011, I wanted to photograph this year's cherry blossoms. To be myself, to support myself."

In addition to these works, the exhibition will also feature special prints and signed copies of Ninagawa's photo book "Baby Blue Sky." The store will also carry goods from M/mika ninagawa, a fashion brand she directs herself.
