Inspired by Japanese straw sandals! Havaianas reimagines its signature model with the "Tradi Zori"

Havaianas, the Brazilian flip-flop and sandal brand, introduces the new Tradi Zori, a reimagining of their signature silhouette.


Inspired by the Japanese straw sandals, the "Tradicional" was born in 1962 as a global bestseller, crafted with a durable, long-lasting rubber sole to suit Brazil's tropical climate and beach lifestyle.

Sixty years later, Havaianas has returned to its roots with an innovative unisex silhouette. Combining the diverse cultures of Havaianas' best-selling "Tradicional" and Japanese zori, the design transcends the beach and fits into fashion-forward urban styles. The unique square sole, made of three layers of EVA resin and rubber, and the fabric strap provide all-day comfort and stability.

"The creative process for this product began when I traveled to Japan and saw people walking around the streets of Tokyo in kimonos and zori sandals. The idea was to reinvent the Japanese zori, the origins of Havaianas and deeply intertwined with Japanese culture, and bring it to cities around the world. Tradi Zori will be available in seven colors inspired by popular colors from the Havaianas collection. It will be available from August 8th at the four stores listed below for a retail price of 8,800 yen (excluding tax).
