At our company, Rui Hachimura and G-SHOCK entered into a global partnership agreement in November 2019, recognizing their shared passion for expanding their horizons from Japan to overseas and continuing to take on new challenges. Rui Hachimura enjoyed success in his first US professional basketball league season in 2019-2020, and is expected to continue to play a key role on the team.

The new GST-B100RH is a signature model designed under the supervision of Rui Hachimura, a G-SHOCK enthusiast since his student days. The base model is the GST-B100 analog chronograph with large disc hands from the G-STEEL series, which features a bezel made from a blend of different materials. The black base and edgy gold ion-plated metal parts create a cool impression. In reference to the "8" (eight) in Hachimura Rui's name and uniform number, the 8 o'clock index, button pipe, and disc hand are accented with a passionate red. As proof that it is a signature model, the case back, band ring, and special packaging feature Hachimura Rui's original logo, known as the "Black Samurai logo."

Regarding this signature model, Rui Hachimura commented, "It's wonderful that the finished design is exactly as I imagined it. I think it will go well with a variety of fashions. I also think it's really cool to have my logo engraved on the watch, and I'm happy because it's an important symbol to me."
