The 2020 Fall/Winter collection, a collaboration between UNIQLO and Ines de la Fressange, will be on sale from August 28th.

Inès de la Fressange took inspiration from "fashion icons of the 1970s" for her Fall/Winter 2020 collection.
Film stars such as Jane Birkin and Françoise Hardy, whom Ines herself admired, were fashion leaders of the time and also symbols of a new image of womanhood. Ines recalls, "At that time, many women had a strong desire to live a life that was not bound by the old conventions of what a woman should be like. And these liberated women pioneered both fashion and life for themselves."

The independent women of the time chose the clothes they wore according to their own values and created their own unique wardrobes. This season's collection is inspired by these "wonderful women" who are still popular with many women today.

Bohemian

Neo Bourgeois

The next keyword is neo-bourgeois. This collection offers a wide selection of 100% silk blouses and wrap dresses, essential pieces for sophisticated women. Pair them with a shearling-style jacket, long cardigan, or culottes for a playful, casual look.
Mannish

Women of the 1970s were among the first to try out mannish styles. This collection features essential items for masculine outfits, from coats with structured silhouettes to classic tweed jackets and corduroy pants.
The lineup includes 39 women's styles. Price ranges are as follows: outerwear from 5,990 yen to 14,990 yen, pants/skirts from 2,990 yen to 5,990 yen, shirts from 2,990 yen to 5,990 yen, knitwear from 3,990 yen to 8,990 yen, dresses from 4,990 yen to 12,900 yen, and goods from 1,990 yen to 4,990 yen (price ranges are subject to change).
