Paul Smith will release the limited edition "Paul Smith Rose Summer Edition 2015 Eau de Toilette" (100ml/8,500 yen) in early April.

The Summer Edition is a limited-edition fragrance from the brand that changes its scent slightly each year. Like the brand's designs, it is traditional, yet adds a contemporary twist to create a fresh, modern scent.

The original "Paul Smith Rose" uses the deep pink, highly fragrant "Sir Paul Smith Original Tea Rose" as its base. This rose was grown by Paul's wife, Pauline, as a gift for him, and was exhibited at the world-famous Chelsea Flower Show in 2006. Paul has said of this rose, "The scent of English roses is one of a kind."

This year's Summer Edition features a top note of tea, adding a unique twist to Paul Smith's signature scent. The fresh, juicy scent of blackcurrant and watermelon enhances the fragrance's British character. Meanwhile, the heart notes feature floral scents such as tea rose, iris, and gammask rose. The rich, warm base notes of cedarwood, amber, and white musk create a happy, sensual atmosphere.

The bottle and box are accented with pink polka dots, giving the fragrance a modern, sophisticated look. The box is also decorated with roses, the fragrance's signature.
