Dolce & Gabbana presented the Alta Moda collection (high-end women's tailoring), the Alta Sartoria collection (high-end men's tailoring), and the Alta Gioielleria collection (high jewelry) on the Italian island of Sardinia from July 1 to 3, 2024 (local time).

The Alta Sartoria collection embodies the rich cultural traditions of Sardinia. It was inspired by the Sardinian Festival of Sant'Efisio and Sardinian folklore.

Beautiful floral motifs crafted from petit point, crochet and embroidery. Luxurious fabrics such as moiré, lace and velvet are intricately handcrafted, allowing this collection to celebrate the timeless beauty of handmade craftsmanship.

The collection pays homage to Sardinia's artisanal traditions and weaving excellence, with the “pibiones” (grape cluster motif) woven on traditional handlooms. It also pays homage to the traditional costume of shepherds, with the “mastruca” (thick wool coat) worn by the “Mamuthones” (Mamoiada village) Carnival.
