Dolce & Gabbana presented their Alta Moda collection (high-end women's tailoring), Alta Sartoria collection (high-end men's tailoring), and Alta Gioielleria collection (high jewelry) on the Italian island of Sardinia from July 1st to 3rd, 2024 (local time).

In keeping with the region of Sardinia, this year's Alta Moda collection featured dresses that were very simple and clean. Lightweight fabrics were chosen to complement the region's constant winds, but coarse wool dresses were also featured.

The focus is not just on the dress, but on the entire frame, and the look is brightly accentuated with accessories such as rings, bracelets and earrings, in the style of traditional Sardinian clothing.

While the dresses may appear simple at first glance, their internal construction makes a statement. Craftsmanship is lavishly applied to the pleats and chiffon, and the dresses are intended to fall vertically. Inspired by Sardinian carpet techniques, some dresses are adorned with small diamonds at the knots.

The venue was set up by American artist Phillip K. Smith, III, and a total of 84 looks were presented within this mirrored setting.
