The floral motif pieces in DIESEL's Spring/Summer 2015 collection are nostalgic. Artistic Director Nicola Formichetti envisioned a road trip to the American West Coast, capturing the mellow atmosphere of the end of a journey.
The dress (¥29,000) features a pale floral print on delicate rayon georgette that flutters in the dry breeze. While based in dusty gray, the front pintucks, French sleeves, and collar create an exquisite balance of purity and grunge. Available in gray and light gray.
A top with the same motif as the dress (¥25,000) is also available. The flowers are painted with a gentle watercolor-like touch, accented with red. A zipper runs from the neckline to both sides on the front, giving the floral motif, which can often be overly sweet, a sharp and edgy finish, typical of Diesel. Available in white and black.
Other items include a gradient T-shirt (12,800 yen) with a dark gerbera design that stands out, which has a large, casual silhouette. It comes in two colors: white base and azure base. The T-shirt (9,800 yen) with gerberas on the sleeves and Diesel logo comes in three colors: white, gray, and azure. All are made of 100% rayon and feel comfortable against the skin.
