BbyB., a Belgian chocolate specialty store, will be releasing a limited-edition gift set perfect for Mother's Day from April 20th to May 10th.
BbyB. is a chocolate specialty store run by Bart Desmid, chef at the two-star Belgian restaurant Bartholomew's, and chocolatier Jan Verleye. In November 2014, the store opened its first directly managed store in Japan in Ginza.
The store offers "Chef Chocolate," which is a selection of Bartholomew's desserts packed into chocolate. All items are designed with a uniform stick shape, with the aim of allowing customers to enjoy the differences in flavor rather than the appearance. The refreshing aroma of fruit and fragrant nuts blends with the chocolate, creating a surprising taste that is different from what it appears.
The new set, "The grace five" (1,400 yen), comes in five flavors. The package includes "Dark Chocolate/Rhubarb/Violet," "Dark Chocolate/Cherry/Lemon," "Milk Chocolate/Babérut/Hazelnut," "Dark Chocolate/Babérut/Sea Salt," and "White Chocolate/Passion Fruit/Basil." The sweetness of sea salt and babérut evokes the bright, sparkling sea, while the tartness of passion fruit and the aroma of basil evoke a Southern European vacation, making this a collection of flavors popular with women. Additionally, an original gift box containing "The grace five" and preserved flowers, "The grace ensemble" (3,900 yen), is also available. A message card is attached to the lid, allowing you to write your favorite message. Pre-orders for this item are now open at BxB GINZA and the official online shop.
