Maison Margiela opened "Maison Margiela Ginza Mitsukoshi - Accessory" on June 26, 2024. Located on the first floor of the Ginza Mitsukoshi Main Building, the new store offers a wide selection of handbags and other leather goods.

The interior features original travertine, whose natural pores are filled with pure white epoxy resin, customized with the Maison's signature design concept.

To celebrate the opening, three limited-edition handbags will be available. The iconic Glam Slam Hobo Small and Hobo Micro, as well as the Glam Slam Flap Small, have been updated with silver leather accents and a "Limited Edition" label on the inside.

Also to coincide with the opening, the window in the passage connecting the main and new buildings has been redesigned. A resin pedestal made from countless trapped air bubbles is placed against a backdrop of travertine back panel, rhythmically showcasing the iconic handbag.
