The power of reality hidden in the imagination. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons' Prada Spring/Summer 2025 Men's collection offers a contemporary perspective on truth and illusion, reality and unreality. It challenges our perceptions of reality, inviting us to reconsider and take a closer look.

Intimacy is a reflection of emotion. We yearn for proximity, for shared space, for intimacy. Proximity also changes how we see things. Objects may look different from afar; even simple, simplistic details actually change up close. Wired collars and hems exude a surreal, almost living, movement. Deliberately creased and patinated pieces create a worn look, evoking the passage of time—the imperfections of life, of reality.

Items borrowed from mothers and fathers are worn differently. They're intentionally lengthened or shortened, creating extreme proportions that are intuitively combined. Superhero sweaters are reinterpreted. A Bernard Buffet painting appears, printed like a concert T-shirt. Pieces of different origins are combined in unexpected ways to create contrast, but it's all done with deliberate intent, with a deliberate effortlessness.

Free spirit, youthful optimism and energy are the defining elements. The crowd gathered in a fairytale ravescape at the Prada Foundation's Deposito, where simple huts stood like totems of essence, necessity and reality, which are reflected in the natural and straightforward designs of the clothes. Utopian and eccentric. Creativity now proposes a new reality.
