Omotesando Hills will undergo a renovation starting August 23rd. New shops, some of which are world premieres and some of which are Japan premieres, will open one after another.

On August 23rd, two New York-based brands, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Stuart Weitzman, will open on the first floor of the main building.

Celebrating its fifth anniversary in Japan, 3.1 Phillip Lim will open its first-ever limited-edition store exclusively selling bags and shoes. Phillip Lim, winner of the CFDA Award for Accessories Designer in June, will stock this season's new "RYDER SATCHEL" and classic items such as the brand's iconic "PASHLI SATCHEL." Japanese designer and architect Jo Nagasaka has been commissioned to design the interior, which will be inspired by this season's collection theme, "SONOMAMA." The store is scheduled to be open until January 13th, 2014. Additionally, the shoe brand Stuart Weitzman will open its first-ever exclusive shop in Japan. Kate Moss has been the brand's campaign model since Spring/Summer 2013, and the brand is beloved by celebrities like Olivia Palermo and Angelina Jolie. To celebrate the opening, limited-edition cuff boots (boots with a folded-over opening) will be released. Also opening: ACROSS THE VINTAGE (August 31st to September 16th), which offers a single design in nine sizes for men, women, and children, on the third basement floor of the main building; and Quatre-Neuf, a select shop from the newly renovated ABAHOUSE brand, on the first basement floor of the main building (September 5th). Additionally, a trolley shop will open sequentially on the first basement floor of the main building. Scheduled to open are jewelry brand "3weeks limited shop "Dressup everyday"" (September 1st to 21st), fragrance-only store "Salvatore Ferragamo" (September 22nd to October 6th), and American fashion brand "COLE HAAN" (October 7th to 28th).

Also, from September 14th, Seattle-based popcorn specialty store "KuKuRuZa Popcorn" will make its Japanese debut on the first floor of Doujunkan. Over 30 different flavors will be available, changing monthly.
