Soup Stock Tokyo enters the family restaurant market. "100 Spoons" opens in October

Aug 18, 2013

Smiles will open a family restaurant called "100 Spoons" in early October as a new branch of its soup specialty restaurant, Soup Stock Tokyo, in the Azamino Gardens commercial complex (704-60 Oba-cho, Aoba-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture). The restaurant's high ceilings create an open feel, and terrace seating and private rooms cater to a variety of needs, from families and couples dining with 2-4 people to parties of over 10. The menu will feature standard Western dishes such as onion gratin soup, beef stew, and hamburger steak, as well as dishes made with a variety of sauces unique to Soup Stock. Planned dishes include lobster and scallop sauce rice and lobster pasta, both of which use the restaurant's signature soup, lobster bisque.

In addition to seasonal salads, side dishes that go well with wine and beer, and a wide selection of drinks, the restaurant also offers a children's lunch (980 yen) and take-out desserts. The average customer spend is expected to be around 1,000 yen for lunch and 2,500 yen for dinner.
