Sportswear brand Champion is offering a Japanese-made sweatshirt and crew neck hoodie based on its classic "REVERSE WEAVE®" model. The fabric is woven on a Wada Meriyasu loop loom, a rare material that is only produced in 6.7 meters per day. The fabric boasts the soft, warm, and lightweight texture of wool knit, excellent stretch, and a texture that lasts even after repeated washing. The fabric is sewn using a flat-seam construction that prevents unevenness. Available in five colors: Oxford gray and black, plus new gold, navy, and ruby red. The sweatshirt is priced at ¥19,740, while the crew neck hoodie is priced at ¥26,040. Each item is available in three sizes, men's only, but the small size is also available for women. The items will be available at Champion stores from the end of September. Champion's Reverse Weave®, which was born in Rochester, New York in 1943 as apparel for athletes, uses fabric with a horizontal weave to prevent shrinkage and has side ribs on the sides to prevent shrinkage and allow for ease of movement. It has become a symbol of Champion.
