【Effectiveness】
Creates an environment where viruses cannot survive with the power to exceed pH 12.4※1
- A new disinfectant developed using pharmaceutical company expertise and Japanese technology -

【pH 12.6 - 13.2】
Instantly creates an environment of pH 12.4 or higher, which is considered unviable for many viruses and pathogenic bacteria, destroying their outer membranes (proteins) and inactivating them.
Made from 100% natural ingredients (calcium hydroxide: HSSP and water), it demonstrates 99.99% disinfecting power.

vs Alcohol
There are two types of viruses: enveloped viruses*2 and non-enveloped viruses*3. Alcohol is ineffective against non-enveloped viruses. Furthermore, the alcohol concentration decreases when the object is wet, raising concerns about reduced disinfection effectiveness.

vs Sodium Hypochlorite (Strong Alkaline)
With a pH of 8.5-13.5, it has strong disinfecting power, but is highly toxic and requires careful handling. Additionally, its unstable nature in the presence of air, heat, and light can accelerate the decomposition of active chlorine, reducing its disinfecting power. It is effective against non-enveloped viruses, which alcohol is not effective against.

vs Hypochlorous Acid Water (Slightly/Weakly Acidic)
It disinfects by reacting with organic matter, so it is not effective on surfaces that are dirty and is not suitable for spraying. It is effective against non-enveloped viruses that alcohol is not effective against.

*1 It does not remove all viruses and bacteria. *2 Coronavirus (SARS-CoV), herpes simplex (including cold sores), Ebola, AIDS, influenza, etc. *3 Norovirus, adenovirus, hepatitis A, poliovirus, coxsackievirus (including hand, foot, and mouth disease), etc.
The reason for its powerful disinfecting power: 365-day calcium hydroxide: HSSP

This product, with a pH above 13 [pH 12.6 - 13.2], is made primarily from calcium hydroxide: HSSP, a proprietary process using only 365-day (approximately one year) scallop shells, which have a high concentration of the ingredients that give it its powerful disinfecting power. Among calcium hydroxides, slaked lime, derived from limestone, has long been used to disinfect and inactivate plague and, more recently, avian influenza and foot-and-mouth disease viruses. While its strong irritant properties to the human body were an issue, the calcium hydroxide (HSSP) used as the main ingredient in this product has the same level of disinfecting power and has been proven safe.

Third-Party Evidence

Its disinfecting effectiveness has been proven against a variety of bacteria, including MRSA, influenza virus, E. coli, O-157, norovirus, Staphylococcus aureus, and Salmonella, as well as enveloped and non-enveloped viruses.

Building a Bridge with Italy

Orcelli, the maker of Mama Baby, is a long-established Italian pharmaceutical company that primarily develops products for medical institutions. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire company has been supporting medical institutions and healthcare professionals on the front lines in Italy, including by providing disinfectant products.

While Mama Baby has a strong desire to "deliver safety and security to the daily lives of children around the world," we have had to halt production of some consumer products in order to prioritize medical facilities, making it impossible to create new products. Now, Orcelli's R&D department has collaborated with the Japanese team, leveraging the knowledge and technology cultivated at a long-established pharmaceutical company to create a new, made-in-Japan disinfectant product that is both child-friendly and environmentally friendly.
