Listening together is a new way for parents and children to have fun

On her days off, Shinobu often spends time at the park with her son. This time, we had her use Spotify Kids and enjoy music with her son during their usual outing.


After downloading the Spotify app, select your favorite character.


Next, enter the user's name (child's or guardian's name) and the setup is complete.

Children can have their own account and enjoy their favorite music and audio content. It also contains no inappropriate content and is written in hiragana, making it easy for children to use.


The playlist has a rich lineup, including songs by Japanese, Western, and K-POP artists popular with children, as well as soundtracks from Disney and Studio Ghibli films.


Characters related to the songs are displayed large, so you can choose together while looking at the screen.


The song chosen for this day was the soundtrack from "Toy Story."

"My son was totally fascinated by the app, as it featured his favorite movies, Toy Story and Studio Ghibli (laughs). Also, the top screen randomly displays his favorite characters and playlists, so he can choose songs while watching, saying, "Oh, it's Doraemon!" - that's great!" (Shinobumai)



"I love that it's easy to choose songs because it brings up a lot of popular songs for kids without having to search for artist names or anime titles. My son always starts dancing when I play music. On this day, he was really energized after listening to Toy Story (laughs). Also, when my son gets fussy while we're out, I often distract him by playing his favorite anime videos or songs. Spotify Kids lets you choose songs with just one touch, so it seems like it could be used as a service that makes it easy to soothe him! "I also found it useful for choosing background music for car trips or before bed. I highly recommend it to moms with young children," says Shinobu.
