Starbucks Coffee Roppongi Hills Metro Hat/Hollywood Plaza store will be reopening on July 1st as a store offering colorful and fragrant tea beverages.



When Starbucks was founded in the United States in 1971, the brand name it used was "Starbucks Coffee, Tea and Spices." As the name suggests, the brand started out selling coffee and tea by weight, and has continued to offer a variety of tea beverages and products as its main menu items alongside coffee.

In addition, Starbucks Coffee Japan uses familiar Japanese teas such as matcha and hojicha to create Starbucks-style lattes and Frappuccinos® developing and proposing new tea experiences, establishing them as part of Japan's new tea culture.

In this way, Starbucks is once again focusing on tea, the driving force behind its roots and evolution, and with the desire to further enhance its value, a Starbucks store will open in Roppongi, Tokyo, where customers can fully enjoy tea beverages.

The tea beverages offered at this store will feature a newly developed menu item, "Tea Creations," inspired by the TEAVANA™ bar at Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo, Starbucks' innovation hub.

This will offer an experience that expands the concept of tea, available at a regular Starbucks store. The lineup will also include a new style of "Tea Latte," available both hot and iced, and "Tea Frappuccino®," based on Starbucks' signature "Passion Tea."

Starbucks Reserve® Roastery "TEA CREATION" is a newly developed menu inspired by the products of TEAVANA™ bar in Tokyo. Introducing the new lineup: "Yuzu & Citrus Lavender Sage Tea" and "Strawberry & Passion Tea."

"Yuzu & Citrus Lavender Sage Tea" combines "Citrus Lavender Sage Tea," characterized by the refreshing aroma of sea buckthorn, sweet flavors of pineapple and orange, and a lingering hint of lavender and sage, with citrus pulp and ruby grapefruit jelly. This beverage allows you to enjoy the authenticity of a sophisticated blended tea and the fruity flavor all at once.

Tea Creation "Strawberry & Passion Tea" (Hot/Iced, Tall size 540 yen)

"Strawberry & Passion Tea" combines strawberry pulp and freeze-dried strawberries with "Passion Tea," a vibrant red herbal tea blended with hibiscus, cinnamon, licorice, and lemongrass for a refreshingly tart flavor. Enjoy the combination of herbal tea aroma and gorgeous strawberry flavor.



Tea Frappuccino® "Strawberry & Passion Tea Frappuccino®" (Tall size, ¥680)
The "Strawberry & Passion Tea Frappuccino®" is made with passion tea, a vibrant red herbal tea blended with hibiscus, cinnamon, licorice, and lemongrass, featuring a refreshingly tart flavor. It's also made with strawberry pulp and freeze-dried strawberries. The combination of herbal tea and fruit, combined with the whipped cream in the cup, creates a rich, dessert-like experience.



Tea Latte "Wasanbon Matcha Tea Latte" (Hot/Iced, Tall size 590 yen)
The "Wasanbon Matcha Tea Latte" combines the same carefully selected matcha as found at Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo with milk and wasanbon sugar. Enjoy the authentic aroma and flavor of matcha and the gentle, elegant sweetness of wasanbon sugar.
