Popbar, a New York-based specialty ice cream shop specializing in authentic gelato sticks, will open its first Japanese store (1F, Intellix Aoyama-dori Building, 2-9-11 Shibuya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on June 25th along Aoyama-dori in Shibuya, Tokyo.
Popbar is currently extremely popular in its home country of the United States, where lines can reach over an hour. This first-time store will offer a total of 26 different flavors of gelato sticks, including classic flavors such as vanilla, chocolate, coconut, pistachio, hazelnut, and mixed berry, with a rotating selection available daily.
In addition to seven toppings (poppings), customers can freely choose from four sauces (dippings) to create their own original combinations. The numerous customization options mean customers can enjoy new and exciting ways to enjoy their ice cream again and again.
The biggest feature of "Popbar" is its handcrafted method that uses natural ingredients without any artificial substances or additives, and the cookies are made from scratch every day using seasonal ingredients. New flavors are planned to be released in the future. Opening hours are from 11:00 to 20:00.
