Speedo, a brand developed by GOLDWIN Inc., has collaborated with BEAMS, a brand developed by BEAMS Co., Ltd., one of Japan's leading select shops, to release the second installment of the "Speedo x BEAMS Collaboration Collection," an amphibious apparel collection made with Speedo's original developed material, at limited stores (Note 1) on June 27th.
This collaboration collection, which was well received last year, is an apparel collection designed by BEAMS using swimwear material developed by Speedo. The collection features "Endurance SP," a material that combines softness with opaque thickness, stretch, and UV protection, as well as "LZR Cordura," a highly durable and soft material. In addition to the classic Speedo logo reminiscent of the 1980s and 1990s, this year's collection features the American flag, one of the roots of BEAMS. The collection includes seven items: two T-shirts, water shorts, a cap, a hat, a pass case that can store tickets and smartphones, and a two-way roll-top bag. With this collection, Speedo aims to build a new image for the Speedo brand, not only in the traditional swimwear category but also to attract a new user base.
