Ray-Ban will launch "Ray-Ban REMIX," a sunglasses customization service available exclusively on its e-commerce site, in early July. The service will offer 10 base models, including the Aviator, Wayfarer, and Clubmaster. Customers can choose their favorite temple color combinations from a wide variety of 114 frame colors. They can also choose the lens color, including gradient, mirror, and polarized lenses. Customers can also choose their favorite text on both sides of the temples and on the case. Up to 10 alphabetic characters or 6 Japanese characters can be added to the temples, and up to 18 alphabetic characters or 9 Japanese characters can be added to the case, up to two lines. Customers can add their own name, a friend's name, or a favorite phrase to create a one-of-a-kind pair of sunglasses. Customers can choose from a variety of text types, including Roman letters, Japanese, katakana, kanji, and numbers. Delivery takes approximately two weeks, and prices start at 20,000 yen.
