This rose gold model commemorating the 2024 Chinese New Year features a pearl-set crown at the 12 o'clock position on the case. Encased in a dazzling Harry Winston diamond-set case, the dial features a mystical cloudscape rendered in white mother-of-pearl and a magnificent red dragon. Limited to eight pieces worldwide, this striking timepiece heralds a new year filled with good fortune and happiness.
The warm, round 18K rose gold case measures 36mm in diameter. Its slim silhouette, just 9.15mm thick, fits comfortably on a woman's wrist. The case's distinctive features include an elegant gold crown adorned with a sparkling white pearl at 12 o'clock and the gently sloping form of the polished case. A double line set with 118 round brilliant-cut diamonds accentuates the beauty of the case's shape. The graceful double arches that extend toward the crown add a touch of richness to the design.

Like many Harry Winston timepieces, this case incorporates design codes that speak to the world of founder Harry Winston. The diamond-set arch that frames the crown is reminiscent of the majestic entrance arch to the Harry Winston flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York. The opulent dial features a Chinese red dragon holding a pearl in its mouth, soaring among soft clouds of white mother-of-pearl. The three-dimensional white clouds swirling around the dragon's body are crafted from natural beaded mother-of-pearl, a material originally found in Chinese art and frequently used on Harry Winston dials. The skillfully carved design perfectly captures the rising clouds surrounding the dragon. The most striking feature is the dragon's dynamic figure, whose hand-carved gold scales are adorned with a deep red lacquer, seemingly playing with the soft clouds. The dragon's head, wrapped around the off-center hour and minute counters, features vibrant blue lacquered eyes and holds a beautiful pearl in its mouth. A brilliant-cut diamond halo marks the 12 o'clock position, and ten additional diamonds mark the five-minute intervals. Within the dazzling halo, a dreamlike mother-of-pearl depiction of the soft, star-studded sky at dusk is depicted.

For those who appreciate a true automatic mechanical movement, this timepiece is equipped with a Swiss-made automatic mechanical movement with a 40-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal caseback. Exquisitely finished with hand-applied Circular Côtes de Genève stripes, the movement is powered by a skeletonized rose gold rotor etched with the Harry Winston logo in the silhouette of an emerald cut. The watch also features a silicon flat balance spring, which is immune to magnetism, corrosion-resistant, and shock-resistant, ensuring long-lasting accuracy.

The HW Moment Chinese New Year Automatic 36mm is a limited edition of only eight pieces worldwide, a reference to the number eight, considered the most auspicious number in Chinese culture. The gold caseback is engraved with a serial number identifying this limited edition. The lustrous red alligator leather strap matches the dial color and features a rose gold ardillon buckle set with 17 round brilliant-cut diamonds, creating a stunning look for the wrist. A small cutout on the alligator strap not only protects the large pearl on the crown but also allows for easy access when adjusting the time.
