Features of NOBLE SAVAGE
While the world is moving towards various "less practices," the value of ancient spirits is also being rediscovered. NOBLE SAVAGE uses materials, patterns, and designs from both Japan and around the world to "redefine" the ancient spirit of survival, shared by all humanity, and coexistence with wilderness and nature in a modern lifestyle, expressing this in their products. To achieve this, they generously utilize the vast collection of domestic and international fabrics and materials, as well as Japanese techniques, owned by Kondaya Genbei, a company with over 280 years of history.

Haori / ¥63,800
"Broken Grid" is a masterpiece by Yamaguchi Genbei 10th. It revives a pattern worn by kabuki monks (classical samurai) from around 250 years ago, and was worn to symbolize a break with order.

Haori / 418,000 yen
This special piece is made from muga silk, which is hand-spun from wild silkworms and dyed with natural dyes, and features antique silver leaf from approximately 100 years ago, owned by Kondaya Genbei, on the pocket.

Haori / 69,300 yen
This haori is made from deadstock hand-woven Laotian fabric, dyed a deep brown with shell ginger and dyed with catechu, a plant that has been used in Chinese medicine since the Nara period, to create a natural hue that brings an earthy feel to the color.
