Collaboration items between JACK SPADE and BEAUTY & YOUTH will be released on July 14th.
JACK SPADE, named after the most common name in America, "Jack," aims to offer simple, functional designs that suit anyone. The concept of the collaboration with BEAUTY & YOUTH is "JACK People." Three designs, "Kennedy," "Nicholson," and "Kerouac," are based on well-known real-life figures and will be available on T-shirts and paperboy bags. Illustrations are by Mary Matson.
Inspired by the historic president, "Kennedy" features a logo print of the woman he loved throughout his life. Inspired by the actor with the most Academy Award nominations of any male actor, "Nicholson" features a logo print of the axe that appears in his signature film. Inspired by a novelist with a large following, especially among hippies, Kerouac uses a cactus illustration from a scene in his masterpiece, On the Road, as its logo print. The T-shirt is priced at 6,800 yen (excluding tax) and the bag is priced at 7,500 yen (excluding tax).
