Stripe International Inc. and its group company, Can Inc., will release a total of 16 new yukatas from 14 brands. They will be available on their e-commerce sites, "STRIPE CLUB" and "CAN ONLINE SHOP," from June 11th, and in stores from June 12th.
Our group has been releasing new yukatas every year since 2016, hoping to encourage younger generations to become more familiar with traditional Japanese clothing. This year, many summer events have been canceled due to the impact of COVID-19. Now, as we spend more time at home, we propose yukatas, traditional Japanese everyday summer wear, as a way to spend time at home. Whether you're attending the popular online drinking party, taking a stroll around the neighborhood, or enjoying a cool evening at home, why not enjoy a cool and stylish "home yukata" to fully enjoy your summer "time at home"?
The new yukatas come in a wide variety of designs, including classic floral motifs like camellias and bellflowers, unique designs featuring adorable swallows and cats, and refreshing summer colors. In addition, Sayaka Kanda, conductor of "Maison de FLEUR Petite Robe canone," and Mako Kojima, founder of "haluhiroine," each oversaw the yukata designs for their respective brands. Each yukata is unique and unique, creating a truly original design. Each yukata is perfect for photos and videos, making them perfect for commemorative photoshoots.
In addition, the fashion subscription service "MECHAKARI" will begin offering rentals of the new yukata starting June 11th. Even if you already own a yukata, you can rent one and enjoy it just like regular clothing, tailored to your mood. We'll also be offering a wider range of sizes to promote diversity, and we'll be running a gift campaign.
