Leica camera and perfume collaboration: Isetan Men's offers "new fragrance choices"

Two events aimed at men who care about beauty, designed to help them master fragrance and skincare, are being held on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building until July 14th.

The promotional space will host a second installment of the "Fragrance Gallery" held in February. Proposing a "new way of selecting perfume" through visual and olfactory experiences, the gallery will display 10 photographs taken with 10 different Leica cameras, along with fragrances chosen based on each photograph. These 10 photo-perfume combinations are accompanied by image columns, creating a multifaceted composition that matches the scents with the worldviews of photography and poetry. Customers can purchase their favorite fragrances at the gallery counter.

In addition, fragrance professionals will be invited to two events on the weekends during the exhibition period. The first is a fragrance ordering session with Japanese perfumer Hideshi Matsuno (July 4th and 5th, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on both days). During this ordering session, Matsuno will create a fragrance of your choice on the spot. The blended fragrance will be packaged in one of three specially prepared bottles (50ml for 10,000 yen) and delivered in approximately three weeks.

In addition, on the 11th (12pm to 7pm) and the 12th (12pm to 5pm), a consulting event will be held where Kuniko Nakata, a permanent lecturer at the Japan Fragrance Association and fragrance coordinator, will suggest fragrances that suit your lifestyle. This will allow you to enjoy making choices that transcend brand boundaries. The brands participating in this edition of the Fragrance Gallery include ACQUA DI PARMA, AEDES DE VENUSTAS, BYREDO, EDITIONS DE PARFUMS FREDERIC MALLE, HEELEY, IL PROFVMO, LORENZO VILLORESI, Maitre Parfumers et Gantier, MIRKO BUFFINI FIRENZE, Penhaligon's, Santa Maria Novella and Serge Lutens.

In addition, a "face wash bar" has been set up in the cosmetics space on the first floor, where an advisor will teach you how to care for your skin. The "face wash bar" has been set up, where you can try out products from the men's skin care brand "LAB SERIES," which was launched by the men's grooming brand "aramis" in 1964, and the advisor will give lectures on the best skin care methods, including the correct way to wash your face and counseling using a skin analyzer.
