Gucci releases first image movie showcasing the worldview of its 2016 Cruise Collection

Jun 12, 2015

Gucci has released its first-ever image movie, a story-based portrayal of the brand's 2016 Cruise Collection. The movie depicts the behind-the-scenes story of the 2016 Cruise Collection, unveiled at the New York Garage. The film begins with a man captivated by a woman walking gracefully through the city, longingly following her. The woman soon notices the man staring at her, but continues walking, smiling, toward somewhere. The two walk close together, sometimes jogging, sometimes smiling at each other. However, the woman eventually enters a restricted building. The man hesitates, but eventually jumps over the fence and enters, revealing a fashion show. The bee logo that appears at the beginning of the video is an archive logo that has been widely used since Alessandro Michele took over as creative director. This logo is also used on invitations and often appears embroidered on clothing.
