Godiva Japan will begin selling "Nuts & Fruits" and "Cacao Beans" from May 27, 2020, at Godiva shops in major department stores nationwide, Godiva specialty stores, and the Godiva online shop. "Nuts & Fruits" and "Cacao Beans" feature the natural bounty of nuts, fruit, and cacao beans coated in high-quality high-cocoa chocolate (70% or more).

The "Nuts & Fruits" lineup consists of three varieties. The new range includes "Nuts & Fruits Almond," a simple and timeless treat made with crispy, fragrant almonds coated in 74% cocoa dark chocolate; "Nuts & Fruits Cranberry," made with whole dried cranberries coated in 77% cocoa dark chocolate, allowing you to enjoy the harmony of the natural sweetness and tartness of cranberries and the bittersweetness of chocolate; and "Nuts & Fruits Hazelnut," made with whole hazelnuts coated in 72% cocoa dark chocolate and dusted with cocoa powder, matching the savory flavor of hazelnuts with the richness of chocolate.



Also, new products will be released that allow you to enjoy the taste of cocoa beans, the seeds found inside the fruit of the cocoa tree and the main ingredient in chocolate and cocoa. Godiva's "Cacao Beans" are made by carefully hand-peeling the delicate and fragile shells of cocoa beans from Togo, roasting them and coating them in dark chocolate with 85% cocoa content. Because they are hand-peeled, you can enjoy them whole, making these "Cacao Beans" unique to Godiva, allowing you to enjoy a new chocolate experience.



Without adding anything unnecessary, these products use ingredients such as cacao, nuts and fruit, carefully utilizing their natural flavours nurtured by the sun, earth and water. Whole cocoa beans from Togo are hand-shelled and roasted, then coated in dark chocolate with 86% cocoa. The crumbly texture and the balance of aroma and acidity make for a completely new experience.
*Cacao beans are the seeds found inside the fruit of the cacao tree, and are the main ingredient in chocolate and cocoa. They have also recently become popular as a superfood.
