Louis Vuitton will present its 2018 Cruise Collection in Japan on May 14th. The venue has yet to be decided.

After traveling to Monaco, Palm Springs, and Rio de Janeiro, Louis Vuitton has now chosen Japan, the "Land of the Rising Sun," as its new destination.

The brand has found mutual recognition from the 19th century to the present day, with its crests said to be the inspiration for its Monogram Canvas, its renowned Japanese clientele including politicians and Kabuki actors, its first store in Japan opening in Tokyo in 1978, and collaborations with Japanese artists such as Takashi Murakami, Yayoi Kusama, Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garçons, and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
