Wako Annex will be introducing a variety of luxurious chestnut sweets, including seasonal parfaits, limited-time fresh cakes, baked goods, and chocolates, all carefully crafted by artisans using carefully selected seasonal chestnuts.

The parfaits, which change with the seasons, are very popular at the second-floor tea salon. From October 1st to November 30th, a chestnut parfait will be available, allowing you to enjoy every last bit of seasonal chestnut. It uses generous amounts of yellow chestnuts and chestnuts simmered in their skins, and is finished with crispy feuilletine and Earl Grey jelly for an autumnal flavor. This tea salon for adults is decorated in chic colors, allowing you to fully enjoy the flavors of autumn while looking out over the city of Ginza.

This assortment includes new creations such as "Marron" along with our classics. These are raw chocolates that allow you to fully enjoy the autumn harvest, including "Raisin," accented with raisins rich in the flavor of brandy, and "Pomme Earl Grey," reminiscent of apple tea.

A pound cake made with a rich dough generously made with Japanese chestnuts and chestnut paste from France, and baked with plenty of yellow chestnuts and chestnuts with their skins from Kumamoto Prefecture. No matter where you slice it, you'll find large chestnuts inside. The moderate sweetness allows the natural flavor of the chestnuts to stand out.

This assortment includes marron glacés, each carefully crafted using traditional French techniques using large chestnuts from northern Italy, and marron chocolat, which is marron glacés coated in Valrhona bitter chocolate, allowing you to enjoy the mellow harmony of chestnuts and chocolate.

Seasonal pies are baked fresh every day at 12 noon and 4 pm. The season for our most popular marron pie has arrived. The crust is fragrant with butter, and the pie is filled with finely chopped yellow chestnuts and rich chestnut paste, surrounded by two whole chestnuts in their skins. The pie is shaped by hand while maintaining a cool temperature, and each one is carefully baked fresh in our Ginza atelier.

We also offer seasonal fresh cakes that allow you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of chestnuts. The "Marron Shortcake" has the texture of chopped chestnuts and the flavor of chestnut cream, accented with the tartness of cassis jam, and the "Premier Marron" is a rum-flavored tart base topped with chestnut mousse, fresh cream, and a generous amount of fluffy, sweet yellow chestnut cream. We also offer the "Premier Marron Waguri," made with Japanese chestnuts.
