Fendi has released a new bag called "FENDI Origami," featuring a distinctive shape that transforms into two silhouettes.

Artistic Director of Accessories and Menswear Silvia Venturini Fendi designed a distinctive shape that can be transformed into two silhouettes: a bucket bag and a tote bag, paying homage to the Maison's eclectic sensibilities. The star of the Fendi Fall/Winter 2023 women's collection, the FENDI Origami bag, effortlessly embodies the charm of the season.

"What I love about the FENDI Origami is that it's a bag with movement. It's two in one. I think that duality is very Fendi. It seems simple, but it's actually very complex," says Silvia Fendi.

The new bag is named after “origami,” a traditional Japanese technique of folding a single sheet of paper into a three-dimensional decorative object. Like origami, the FENDI Origami bag is intricately constructed from 38 pieces, transforming from a flat trapezoidal tote to a geometric, flower-like, cubic bucket shape by fastening all eight magnets in the center. Pulling the straps on either side opens the bag, embodying both functionality and the Maison’s signature playful spirit. A beautiful pendant featuring the gold FENDI logo, matching the key ring, adorns the front of the bag.

The FENDI Origami can be worn over the shoulder as a shopping bag, or compactly fastened with a magnetic closure and carried in the hand as a bucket bag. It comes in three sizes: Large, perfect for carrying all your essentials; Medium, perfect for everyday use; and Mini, with a long strap for easy shoulder carrying. Its clean, sleek silhouette and dual functionality make the FENDI Origami the perfect accessory for a variety of everyday occasions.

The delicate, textured leathers of FENDI Origami are elevated in sophisticated tones such as black, white, taupe and vibrant cyclamen pink, while the timeless FF logo jacquard appears in classic tobacco brown. Precious variations in interlaced leather are entirely handmade by Fendi's master artisans, while a shearling version of the iconic FF logo adorns large sizes with two-tone and three-dimensional effects.
