Dior presented its Fall 2017 collection.
In the heart of Paris, the modern and cutting-edge city of flowers, clothing for the first time became an important component of how both men and women expressed their personalities. Because bohemians expressed their individuality through the way they dressed, their lifestyle was positioned somewhere between art and performance.
In Los Angeles today, unconventional neo-bohemians reject mainstream art and instead engage in street art, cultivating a spirit of protest and spirituality.
Dior Women's Artistic Director Maria Grazia Chiuri drew inspiration from neo-bohemianism for her Fall 2017 collection, hoping to remain true to a new generation of women who assert their individuality within the rhythm of modern urban life.
